Helping a friend get closer to God is a most worthwhile way of serving our Heavenly Father through serving our friend, or our spiritual brother or sister. Such help demonstrates our compassion and love, and our willingness to help someone along their life journey. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our example for this.
This is an important subject, but we won't go into it in detail within PFP itself — we'd like you to read an article of the same name for your own benefit. It won't be included in the Statements work pages, but you might find it helpful, along with a companion piece where people share their own experience of getting closer to God.
